Police are appealing for information about the road rage incident
DINGWALL police are appealing for information after a "road rage" incident in which a man was assaulted and needed hospital treament.
The incident occurred about 5pm yesterday (Tuesday) at the side of the B9169 road to Culbokie on the Black isle, just a short distance from its junction with the A9 trunk road.
A police spokesman said: "During the incident a man was assaulted by another man. The incident resulted in the victim being taken to hospital for injuries he sustained."
