CLACH have now been eight weeks without a game after Saturday's home Highland League fixture against Rothes was washed out by the rain.

 

Not since Iain Polworth's team beat Fort William in Inverness on December 23 have the Lilywhites had a competitive match.

 


CLACH boss Iain Polworth arranged two bounce games this week in a bid to "shake off the rustiness" following yet another Highland League postponement. The Lilywhites were due to face Strathspey Thistle at Seafield Park on Saturday, but in one of only two call-offs, a frozen pitch saw Clach sit out another matchday.

Clach CLACH and Nairn County were idle on Saturday as their Highland League fixtures against Strathspey Thistle and Deveronvale respectively were postponed due to frozen pitches.
