Confirmed February games for County

by Paul Chalk

ROSS County will have a busy February after the Scottish Football League added their three postponed games into this month’s fixture list.

The Irn Bru Division One leaders’ home match against Partick Thistle, which was postponed due to the wintry weather on January 2, will now be played on Tuesday, February 14.

Seven nights later, Derek Adams team will host Morton. That game was also hit by the weather, on January 21.

At things stand, those are County’s two games in hand, which they will hope to win to increase the gap of chasing pair Falkirk and Dundee.

Another of the Dingwall side's postponed matches has also been rescheduled, the trip to Ayr United is now set for Wednesday, February 29.

Other Division One fixtures for the Staggies this month are: Raith Rovers (away) on Feb 11, Ayr United (home) on Feb 18 and Dundee (away) on Feb 25.

This means the Staggies will have to get through seven games this month, including Saturday's William Hill Scottish Cup fifth round tie at St Mirren.
