ROSS County Football Club have today parted company with manager Jim McIntyre and his assistant Billy Dodds, with immediate effect.
A statement released by the 10th-placed Scottish Premiership club this morning said: "We would like to thank Jim and Billy for their dedication and hard work during their time at the club and in particular would like to acknowledge their achievement in guiding the club to winning its first piece of major silverware. We wish them both well for the future."

Steven Ferguson, academy director, will step in as caretaker manager

The Staggies board will now begin the recruitment process and the clubs says it will "make no further comment until that process is completed".

Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Hibs meant they had not won since their 2-1 opening day victory at Dundee and could go bottom at the weekend if they place at rock bottom Kilmarnock.
