No - There is nothing wrong with the A9 - it's the drivers on it. I use it all the time and some drivers use it as a race track. Torin664

Yes - Too much traffic, high vehicle speeds, poor driving standards/erratic speed changes by non-concentrating drivers, differing legal speed limits for different types of vehicle and not enough pull-off places for LGVs and coaches to use to allow frustrated traffic to clear. Couple these with impatience and no desire to appreciate the journey for its own sake and you have a recipe for disaster. Nick Dawson

Yes - It should be a motorway. John Hollas

Yes - Football teams both amateur and professional should be barred from playing if they continue to use bad language. This is just complete lack of self-control which most of us have to learn at a very early age and the use of bad language is far too prevalent nowadays - so someone has to take a stance! Well done Highland Council - but, of course, if the team now playing at North Kessock are also swearing then they must be banned as well. Good standards of behaviour and that includes good language must be encouraged at all times. Colin L. Swan, Conon Bridge

Yes - We are already paying Council Tax for the same services. Albyn Housing should either scrap this charge or Highland Council should give Albyn residents a rebate on their Council Tax. It would be very interesting to see Albyn's accountancy for this service charge. Milder winters mean less/no gritting of roads yet the charges continue to rise. M Zagorski

No - I assume this is meaning class A drugs. I think that people who live in Ross-shire would still opt for softer drugs such as marijuana. Hard drugs is not the problem. The question your survey you should really be asking is: Why do people in Ross-shire rely so heavily on alcohol to help sustain their lives? Further enquiry would lead to the fact that alcohol is not the core but merely an outer shell of a deeper, more complex issue of the changing traditions and of what it now means to live in the North West Highlands. No - 170 houses plus a health centre right beside a primary school is a health and safety issue. The capacity at Craighill primary must also be in doubt. Why move the health centre away from the centre of the town? It is situated right beside several sheltered housing units, and within easy walking distance of the town centre, and its two pharmacies.
