Sammy Armour and Jake Mackay made a new friend at the Breakfast with Santa event.

A GAGGLE of excited young Ross County fans made their way to the Dingwall club’s Global Energy Stadium for an experience to savour.

And while many of them are regulars at the Staggies’ home matches, for once they weren’t there to watch a game of football — even though many of their favourite players were in attendance.

Top billing at the event went to a very special visitor from the North Pole – helicoptered in especially for the occasion.

The Breakfast with Santa event staged by the club has become an eagerly anticipated annual fixture in the club’s busy calendar of community activities. Combining breakfast with first team players and the jolly man in red, along with kids’ entertainment, has proved a winner for the club with the event once again selling out in advance.

Youngsters enjoyed the opportunity to grab some selfies with County stars including skipper Andrew Davies, midfielder Christopher Routis and goalkeeper, Aaron McCarey.

Players have been kept busy behind the scenes in recent days, also turning out for a signing night at the club’s merchandise shop.
