Jamie McCart’s belief that Inverness Caledonian Thistle can challenge for promotion back to the Premiership convinced him to sign for the club.
The 20-year-old defender signed a two-year deal from Celtic last week having played with Caley Thistle on loan two years ago when they were in the top flight.
Despite the club now being in the Championship and expecting tough competition from other teams in the league, McCart says the club have the quality to be contenders to get back to the Premiership.
“We’ll be confident we can target promotion this season,” he said.
